Hi, my name is Elizabeth and I am so happy to bring you, Everyday Decor Plus More!!
I have always loved helping friends and family find that missing piece of decor to complete their home, select the perfect outfit for an event and provide organizational tips and tricks to improve daily routines. I want to do just the same for you, which is why I have finally decided to start this page!!
I currently work in Project Management/Marketing and have been working remotely for the past 5 years. So, while this whole work from home thing is not completely new to me, it continually challenges me in new ways. I absolutely love my job, but I have found myself yearning for a creative outlet and a stronger sense of community outside of my job. I know this page will bring just that: creativity and community so I hope you follow along!
hOME SWEET HOME
I have always loved staying busy and finding new projects to take on while being budget conscience. 2020 was chaotic for everyone, but we made the most of it with plenty of big life changes. Eric (my husband) and I moved across country from Denver, CO back to our home town of Louisville, KY into this beautiful 1940s house. We then had a quaint Covid wedding and bought our dog, Georgie. Since all of that craziness has somewhat settled, I have found myself endlessly searching for unique and affordable items to make our house feel like a home. I know first hand how much effort and expense can go into this so I want to make the process easy and fun for you! I will share affordable finds and take you through any and all DIY projects we have in store for our 1940s home.
BEAUTY ON A BUDGET
It brings me joy to help others make their residence feel more warm and welcoming. You should find a sense of serenity and inspiration in your home and I will help you achieve that! I will be focusing on decor, but I will also share my favorite new wardrobe pieces because I love seeing someone find confidence in a new outfit. Additionally, I want to bring a sense of ease into your life by sharing some simple, yet effective organizational tricks.
My hope is to bring beauty, joy and ease to your life without breaking the bank. While this page will be filled with beautiful pieces, I want it to also be made up of beautiful people who inspire others to follow their dreams!
